Dallas ranks among 15 hottest U.S. metros for millennial homebuyers

Dallas ranks among the top 15 U.S. metros for millennial homeownership growth, with a 96.9% increase from 2018 to 2023, reaching 47% homeownership among local millennials. Millennial renters also grew by 9%. Nationwide, millennial homeowners rose 74%, nearing parity with renters. In Texas, Austin and San Antonio are also top cities for millennial homeownership growth. Gen Z homeownership remains low at 12% in Dallas-Fort Worth.
