Best US Housing Markets for Affordable Home Prices Now

About 16.7% of homes for sale had price reductions last month, down from 17.9% the previous year, suggesting sellers are setting lower initial prices. Some markets still see around a quarter of listings discounted, with Phoenix leading at 29.1%, followed by Tampa-St. Petersburg (25.1%), San Antonio (24.9%), Denver (24.3%), and Portland (24%). These areas face slow sales due to ample supply and weak demand at current prices.
