On September 26, 2026, Tradition Transformed 2026 opens at the Orillia Museum of Art & History. OMAH’s annual juried landscape exhibition brings together contemporary artists who reinterpret the Canadian landscape through diverse perspectives, materials, and artistic practices. This exhibition offers more than a look at familiar scenery. It invites visitors to consider how artists see place, memory, identity, and environment—and how a landscape can be transformed through a fresh creative lens. Each work creates an opportunity to pause, reflect, and engage with the Canadian landscape in new ways. Running through January 16, 2027, Tradition Transformed 2026 is an excellent addition to a local day out in Orillia. Whether you are an art enthusiast, a longtime resident, or exploring the community for the first time, OMAH provides a meaningful cultural experience close to home. Mark your calendar, plan a visit, and share the experience with friends and neighbours. Learn more about the exhibition at https://www.orilliamuseum.org/project/tradition-transformed-2026/
