Calgary Home Market Offers More Choices for Buyers in May

Home sales in Calgary dropped 15.5% in May compared to the previous year, with 2,162 homes sold. The residential benchmark price fell 3% to $570,500. Apartment prices decreased 9.1% to $300,400, row homes fell 6.4% to $422,300, detached homes dropped 2.4% to $747,800, and semi-detached homes declined 1% to $691,100. New listings decreased 12.7%, while total inventory slightly increased to 6,752 homes.
